I live in rural Cedar Falls Ia.
I have 2 sons - Brian & David. They
are both out on their own. (?)
I have a full time job at a photography lab and a part-time job as a photographer & digital artist. Love all things digital, hence the blog
name.
I've been on the lookout for a Wii for a long time - today Brian was in Walmart (with my CreditCard) and they happened to have 2. He called me right away and I told him to try my CC and they let him use it. (maybe I should be mad?) He also could have got the WiiFit but didn't know I was still looking for that too. Oh well - I have the Jillian Michaels game and I guess you don't NEED the board, but keep your eyes open everyone. Brian and I have been playin' all afternoon - LOVE it! And I'm already sore from jumpingaround - (I'm not bad at boxing. ;) So these are our Mii's and also Brian with his alter ego - It makes me laugh cuz it looks just like him, doesn't it?
sorry - Coloradians! You missed a good time. We were at Bruce and Kays this year. We also brought Nathan and Nora with us. Nathan had a ball with all his big guy cousins. He sorta bounced from boy to boy. N&N were so good and had fun opening our presents for us. Don't worry they each got a present to open too but GMA is gonna wrap them up again for the Caley kids Christmas. Is that rude?? Don't worry - Nathan thought he had Davids present anyway!
Both David and Bart got a little early present. David bought Bart a Bonsai tree and was having trouble taking care of it, so he thought he better give it to Bart before he kills it. The 2nd one he bought for himself. These are both about 2 years old. I also gave David his "ditch witch" coat and sweatshirt early. He is still working outside although he says these are "for good". He was very happy with them - you know this because he posed for me!
This from last weekend, when Brian was home. He is shoveling a spot (front of house and back) for the dogs, So they don't get their tushies in the snow. That's a good brother huh?

I'm so excited! I told Bart he was not only Scrooge, he was the Grinch too. So today he's bringing up totes from the basement. I told him Brian would help put up lights and he was "on it" With no grumblin' - although it looks more like he's supervising!
.... but I only have pictures of Two of them. My friend Megan visited with her daughters, Ava and Scarlett. Ava is 4, Scarlett is 2. Megan and I worked together - literally RIGHT next to each other for several years. She is young enough to be my daughter but we had a lot in common and lots to talk about daily! She "retired" 4 years ago to be Mom to her girls and now has another baby on the way. She's a photographer too and actually took both of these pics in my studio. We think Ava has been watching Americas Top Model - she was working it! I'm so glad you stopped Megan!
I did like it! The first one better - but this is non-stop action. More like the Bourne movies. I do like that there is no swearing, despite all the violence. They are slowly bringing in the signature Bond - like martinis. I must admit I'm not a Bond fan, not sure I've sat through any of the others all the way. If you haven't seen Casino Royale - rent that 1st, this continues right after.
Sorry, I haven't been posting! I'm working on Christmas gifts and I sure can't post them.Thanksgiving at my house this year and Bart's working on getting the house spiffy. I am sharing a picture of our woodpile IN THE HOUSE! Drives me crazy - I keep telling him this isn't a woodshed. Who else thinks this is just a little ridiculous (sp)?????
We only had one Halloween visitor and that was Barts brother Dave. He hooked us up with some more TV channels through just the antenna. Bart will have 2 weather channels - how many do you need ? - and I finally have all the primetime shows in HD. My Love/Hate relationship with DirectTV is over!
This is Dales Studebaker - It's still drivable, if that's a word.
I pretty much spent the weekend working on wedding albums! Not that their not fun ;) but I'm also glad when I'm to the printing stage. Here is a page from Ashleys album - their 'family' page. Love her colors!
This is John and Sarah - I mean Bart and Lori! Don't they look great? Well Bart has a little too much hair but Lori - you nailed it! I wish I was as creative.
This is Cash Daniel - He is truly a newborn, 5 days old. He was a very good boy - his Grandma and I were twisting and turning him to try for a different pose. Didn't succeed with that shot but here are a few good ones. Isn't he a sweetie? I heart him.
I've given Rick a bunch of crap about his camera phone pics, and when he sent me one of his pumpkin patch, I deleted it cuz they didn't even look like pumpkins. So Thanks to Ashley! Here is a "real" pumpkin patch. Good Job RCaley Family!

Oh - and check out her veil! She called it something else, but I can't remember what it was - maybe mom would know? They also played a lot of oldies during the reception and at the dance too.
Our last wedding for the year. It was in Mason City and they were staying at this way cool bed and breakfast! Lots of great places for pictures. Also very much in love and so you didn't have to do much posing - they were always kissing and looking at each other. They are also VERY photogenic which helped too.
And the only one I made it to :( I got some great shots tho. Here's a Tyler touchdown and dousing the coach at the end of the game. AND a very handsome Tyler.
Amanda, Brittney and kids visited yesterday. I haven't photographed Malia for a long time since Amanda and David have been living in Utah for the last 18 months. So here is one of the attempts. She wasn't having it! Although I did get some Cute ones that I'll share later. Nathan WANTED his picture taken this time - maybe a little jealousy going on? They were Fun though and can sure come up with some new ways to make messes!
Soo...... only TWO people were interested enough to call about my exciting news. Well, here it is! I won this TV last Friday night at a football game. I was at another schools game but Rick and Pam were there and they called my name at halftime. I do already HAVE a 42" lcd TV -not completely paid for - So I am taking "REASONABLE" offers from anyone. I would like to finance a new lens for my camera - or hey maybe I'll pay off my other TV! ;)
It's early October and both days we've used the fireplace. It's great for taking the chill out of the air. Can you believe how fast this year is flying by?
I took football pictures tonight and while I was editing them I came across images I had taken last week. Isn't this a true Kermit looking frog? How many others do you see? They were jumping into the pond so fast while I was snapping away.
Edit: Okay, so it's kinda hard to tell by this small thumbnail but there are 3 just in the foreground. PS I got some WAY exciting news tonight, but I just might make you call me to find out what it is!
Senior pics round 2! The weather wasn't very cooperative, but they were good sports. Kyle said the soybean field wouldn't be cool if he was a farmer, but since he's not- it's cool. Taylor looks pretty in purple (and pink and black and etc......)
Louie wanted to know if I'm holding a Chatty Kathy doll in yesterdays post. Yup it is. With a little trim on the hair maybe! I remember Laurie Delagardelle and I got one at the same time (thru dads station?). But here's a pic I found and if anyone is interested BE INTERESTED DARN IT, here is more info. ChattyKathy I was too old for the marcia brady voice but maybe you had that one Kay?.
This is my Friend Debs little guy. He was a challenge! She was shooting a Senior out here and I was chasing Mikey around my porch. Here he was telling me to stop already!
Bart and I went to Dubuque yesterday to celebrate Nathans and Noras birthday. The party was at Dans Parents house and oh, what a house. It is a Victorian with lots of rooms, high ceilings - some of them copper - wood parquet (sp) floors. And a carriage house. Right up my alley. They had a very nice shaded yard also and we picniced outside. So here are a few pics - I've wanted to share my latest paint but since it was Nathans present I had to wait til the Hanselmanns saw it first. We had a very nice time - I think I could live in Dubuque - so picturesque with all these cool houses. But then I could live in any River town.
