Rain, Rain go away! Our yard flooded for the 2nd time this year. It fills up our driveway and goes in the window wells on both sides of the house. Me, Bart and Brian have been shop vac-ing for hours and pushing the water into the sump pump with a broom. What a mess! The creek behind us overflows the banks - fills the ditches and then over the road it goes. We keep telling our engineer son Brian he has to figure out a way to keep it out of the basement. Sounds like everybody has some weather related disaster today -Rick and Pam had 8 inches of water in their basement. Our fireplace crackled and sparked today too and blew a fuse. Still haven't got that section of the electricity to work yet. The wall my TV is on.

You should have called us to help. We would have been there. We only were without power for about 6 hours. Wet basement is all without sump running.
