To Amanda and David and Brittney and Dan. These are my favorite pictures of you guys from your wedding day!

My sister and  her husband, with the triplets, visit his family every 4th of July in Rico, CO. This picture appeared on the front of their newspaper. That is Jarrett and Quinn saluting the flag and Hunter (with the broken arm) appears in the picture too. I think all the people with the flags on the shirt are relatives also - I know the little girl about their age is for sure. It must be a small town - their grandpa appeared on last months front page for spring cleaning of the town.

I'm ignoring my Birthdays! Happy Birthday to Kyle (17) and David  - finally legal at 21! Oh, to be young again!

Uncle Rick brought Nathan a turtle! He gets to take it home! Yay - no one can be allergic right?

I'm watching Nathan and Nora all week, and I just want that one great shot! Nora has tears in her eyes - She was happier without the floofy (sp?) dress.

... from last night - April took the pictures, I kept the dogs and kids out of the pictures. Me, Kay and Diane are having a shower for Ashley (and Cody) (on the right) tonight. I made cupcakes and they look awful so I'm off to the store - maybe fruit pizza? The other couple are Megan and Randy, they are getting married in August. Love her blue eyes.

I snuck in a movie before picking up Nathan & Nora for a week. I can't even believe I'm admitting it - but it was Fun! I don't usually like musicals and none of them are singers - but lots of laughing in the theater and I didn't even hate all the Abba songs. I never was a fan - but seeing Mr Darcy playing guitar was weird! Meryl Streep was excellent and the girl who played the daughter, I've seen her in alot of movies and never liked her - she was good too. So 4 out of 5 stars from me. The credits were hilarious  too.

Our wedding couple cancelled this evening - arrggghhhhh- so I spent the time with Nora Ann.

And then there was Nathan. He actually jumped up in the chair and took direction! First time ever - He really was the best boy this weekend, no problem at bedtime and only a little crying time but we teased him out of that. I'd say "are you going to cry?" and he'd laugh and say "no" in a shaky voice.  Soooo cute!

I admit it - I was trying to get some "artsy" pics of Nora - but she wasn't exactly happy to be a model! These two were my favorites. The lens flare was a happy accident.

A Picture for their mom who is probably having withdrawals. These are the best kids in the world! In fact it's 8:20 and they're already in bed and well on their way to sleeping. No fuss at all.Nathan even said it's 8 oclock. Time for bed.  Nater and I went to the movie Wall-E, it was okay - not great and he had to sit in my lap cuz the chair kept folding up on him. Nora stayed with Gpa and he took her on the porch in her pack n play and they had a long talk. She likes to jabber alot. So Brittney I hope you're having fun with your free weekend. We are, but I  forgot how tiring this is and just might go to bed myself.

Tim was a good friend that we've missed seeing the last few years. He died on Sunday from heart failure. Very unexpected. He was only 57. This is a picture I took at their summer place in Prairie Du Chien and tonight his wife Vickie called  to ask for a copy so they can use it for his funeral memorial. Sitting outside and watching the sunset was one of his favorite summer rituals.
