He's 24 today! Makes me old - not just feel that way. I took him out to lunch and then we went to the casino for an hour or so. I came out even - he lost a little birthday money. He's headed to St Louis tomorrow for some job-hunting. Wish him Luck!

My great room is finished! LOVE it! The dining room wall (next to the green) is a light tan. The other walls are a darker brown. I think they look good with the green and the floor. We are going to do the top of the loft wall in green also. NOW , I need new curtains - oh, and new furniture would be nice! I moved my computer to the den (where it belongs :) )

Saturday, we had a few friends, a couple of good brothers & a great son come over to refinish the floor! 5 sanders - and a shop vac going all the time. It is BEAUTIFUL! and oh so shiny - I need new furniture OR a 5 man bball team! Rick wanted to slide across a la 'risky business' but had to settle for the Burt Reynolds pose.

Brian came out to give Bart a haircut! I think it's only been about 6 months.... Here's a before, during (the mullett stage) and an after including the pile of hair. Whateverrrr................

With a touch of red. . . . just the wall behind the washer and dryer. I like my curtain, but it's too big and too short. This will work in the kitchen. The door will be 'green' - I know, I know. stuck on green. The floors are refinished here and Barts bathroom too.

I've been wanting some color in my house - all the walls are white - so here is what I came up with (so far) This is one dining room wall and one kitchen wall and that will be it for the green. Under the cupboard is Lexon , formica - that you can't paint so that will remain beige. I LIKE it!
Bart did one wall and I actually did the pantry wall. I'm a horrible painter and was pretty proud of myself for how it turned out - don't look too close though!
