Holy Cow!

I posted on my facebook page, but realized not everyone is a facebook peep. Last week, Bart was in the basement putting in a new filter on the water softener. He heard a loud boom - - thought he blew something up - heard another - it was a gunshot! Ran upstairs and some people from the locker were shooting a "cow" in our front yard! They were afraid it would run into the road - which would have been bad - but they had to shoot it 4 times! Our front yard looked like a crime scene! I didn't get any pics before the rain washed it away. So say a little prayer for the poor cow - I don't know how they normally kill them but 4 bullets seemed excessive. What was even odder, we watched our neighbor come home. He walked right by all the blood and hardly even paused.... they must shoot cows around here alot! Oh - and we've been promised some T-bones, but haven't seen them yet.

Frosty!

I've spent the whole weekend 'watching' football and editing our latest wedding. blah... It's been pretty out with all the frost so I took a quick picture. I'm so over this crap!

1938 STEELCRAFT “PLAYBOY TRUCKING Co.” PEDDLE truck

This toy truck, along with a toy tractor sits above our kitchen on a shelf. It is actually Dales, but he is going to let us keep them for display - I've tried to find more info on them, but only find they are "rare". There are a few for sale through Auctions, but no prices.  Bart is fixing drywall up high, so he's had to take these down and I'm cleaning them up. They would be great for pictures, wouldn't they?

My Dream House! (in warmer weather)

I just spent an hour signing the papers! Many, many  Thanks to Dale!

Happy Birthday Mom!

How pretty is she? This picture was taken in 19... - Better not give it away! Might be a hint to Mom's age?!  Have a great day Mom.
