I love it! All built - not all nailed down. Now the fun begins for Bart - sanding and staining. Thanks to Rick for the construction !! He knows his stuff. (Don't look at the messy house) 

We had a short visit from Amanda & Brittney and kids. They had to take a bath in the "big tub" last night. Here's all 3 and one of just Malia -look at those eyes!

My friend Joe went to California for a wedding over Christmas. He took this great picture with his point and shoot camera - I swear he could take great pictures with a camera phone. This is 3 pictures put together in Photoshop. Click on it to see the harbor at Monterey.

We might have to burn the staircase! Bart had the neighbor clear a path so we could get to the woodpile in the back. The top pic is from Friday night - the bottom from this morning. The winds were whipping yesterday! Check out the drift behind the birdhouse. David and I drove through some white outs yesterday, it was a little scary. We should have stayed home!

Update on the smoking and drinking (pop) that is! No cigs for Bart and 1 12oz fountain dcoke for Sharon. Yup, I slipped - David bought it for me, by mistake, but I had to have it. Honestly not that good anymore! I've switched to tea but it's hard to find unsweetened without lemon. So I'm on the search for the perfect Tea.

I'm so excited! This is the beginning of the stairway... I think it looks GREAT - I know there is a lot more work to come, but at least I can begin to visualise what it will look like. Rick and Jeff have been here to get Bart going on this winter project but Bart keeps telling me it will be a mess before it's better. I don't care! Can you picture it done? Gorgeous! Now imagine how many spindles have to be cut, measured and sanded.

This was Lori and Barts gift. I didn't have pictures of their kids for blowing up, but I did have some bridals Lori had done. My David said "Who would want to look at themself all the time?" Well - I would, for one, if I was that pretty! But regardless, I think her husband liked it.

I hope you got your present from me on time for once! And I hope you will enjoy it (and use it ;) )
