I was actually just trying out a new lens - but I haven't posted a pic of my Duke lately. He will be 12 this year and it's really showing in his face with all the gray! He can still out run Lizzie - well IF he feels like it.

This little cutie was at the Fathers Day party we went to at Rick and Pams last Sunday! Rick had him convinced that picking up apples and putting them in a bucket was a fun game. He 'played' this game for some time, probably longer than a kid that was getting paid to do it would have done!

We had some truly spectacular lightning this afternoon and since we are just a few miles west of the Uni dome - this went over our
house too. Lost power for a little over an hour.

While looking for a pic of my Dad to put in an old locket. - I came across this and did a little restoration. One of my favorites of mom and dad - when Dad was in the army. Colorado Springs? I think.... :)

Rick went fishing today and this carp was laying on the bridge. He stopped here after, to blame Bart for putting it there. For 'once' Bart was not guilty. Who would even want to touch that gross thing?!

I'm afraid I'm getting used to the quiet life with the bridge construction ongoing. The only cars that go by are the drivers who are hopeful they can sneak through. Not happening! There are several gals at work that live in Parkersburg and this is killing them to drive around. I try not to gloat but I don't care if they ever finish the bridge!
